Welcome to Story Hollow

If you've ever wished you could step inside the pages of a favorite book, you've come to the right place.

Story Hollow is a cozy corner of Maple Grove hosted by Felix the Fox, keeper of stories and mayor of the village. Here you'll find book companions, story-inspired play, and ideas for making reading a little more magical.

As a homeschooling mom of seven, some of my favorite memories were made with a stack of books beside us. We read on the couch, under blankets, outside beneath the trees, and sometimes long after we should have been doing something else. The stories we shared became part of our family, and many of them are still treasured today.

That's the heart behind Story Hollow.

A story companion can help a child engage with a book in a completely different way. Holding a character while listening, acting out favorite scenes, retelling the story, or creating new adventures often deepens a child's connection to the books they love.

There is no right way to use them.

Tuck one into a story basket. Bring one along on a road trip. Add one to a nature walk. Use one during read-aloud time. Or simply place it in the hands of a child and see where their imagination takes them.

At Story Hollow, we believe stories are meant to be enjoyed slowly, revisited often, and remembered long after the final page is turned.
